For the past few years the lovely pupils & parents of Atwood Primary Academy in Croydon ( http://www.atwoodprimary.academy/about/headteachers-welcome/) have been donating their outgrown school shoes to our children in Ekudzeni. Bare feet are common, as are shoes that are full of holes, offering little or no protection from the cold and rain. Now thanks to these collections many more of our children can own a decent pair of shoes. Below are the soaking wet, holey trainer's that we were able to replace, along with a brand new school uniform to make one child a very happy boy! This year the lovely Anna, a TA at the school, is again busy collecting shoes for our trip in March - a huge thank you to everyone who is contributes to making our children's lives more comfortable
