RIP Robert Nestor co-founder AVSF 13/06/64 - 17/03/20

I am so sorry it's taken me so long to write this however I am sure you will forgive me due to the circumstances. Rob & I founded AVSF after our mad reality TV experience in 2001. Rob worked tirelessly, right up until his death earlier this year, to ensure our projects will continue with just me at the helm. Rob ran numerous marathons to raise money to sustain our projects - even completing "Tough Mudder", a 10km obstacle race 2 days after his diagnosis of Neuro Endocrine cancer!.

In the year before he died Rob managed 3 trips to Eswatini completing a vegetable garden, basketball court and table tennis table (hand built from cement!) despite being very unwell. His legacy lives on in our community and I will do my best to make sure that the charity continues to support those in Ekudzeni who are the most vulnerable . Rob was a huge part of my life for over 30 years, he made me brave, he made me never give up , he gave me the determination to keep raising funds when it all seemed too much. He was our superhero and we miss him very much
